Steelbeam helps out HAAM - Steelbeam trekked north of the river Tuesday October 4, 2011 for the first time in ages to rock out the good patrons of Whole Foods Market Gateway as part of the annual HAAM Day Benefit for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. KLBJ-FM’s B-Doe was on hand to help support HAAM Benefit Day, a uniquely Austin event where businesses donate 5% of the day's proceeds to HAAM to support musicians' health. Musicians, most of whom are HAAM members, perform throughout the day at retail stores, outside stages, City Hall and more. HAAM helps Austin musicians with low-cost primary health care services, basic dental care and mental health counseling.
